Warren O’Brien’s abstract paintings echo the rhythm and repetition of his process. A layering of radiant colour creates the illusion of depth and texture in his work. O’Brien’s use of a repeated arc motif in his work, based on an arched window, invites the viewer to explore the many complex layers in his work, not least the luminescence within. Since 2005, O’Brien’s work has appeared in many Arts Project Australia group exhibitions.
Warren O’Brien is represented by Arts Project Australia.
