Jodie Noble’s current work is figurative and often incorporates an autobiographical narrative. While occasionally painting from life, her work also references popular culture. In particular, Noble is inspired by famous figures, from Frida Kahlo and Francisco Goya, to Queen Elizabeth II. Noble’s work is descriptive, expressive and infused with a sense of physicality.
