Born 1953, Australia
Alan Liebe is represented by Arts Project Australia.
Inherent in Alan Liebe’s work is a looseness of line and a sense of intangibility. His depictions of houses and vehicles often exist in undefined landscapes and possess an ironic weightlessness. Liebe’s line work is definitive but never void of sensitivity. With its simple and refined colour palette, his work evokes a sense of harmony in content and form. Liebe has been included in many group exhibitions in the past decade.
